Turning and boring the curved profile of a pulse jets ventui nose cone.

The final photo shows the finished job, with its screwcut face plate. I did not appreciate this first time around, doing the small end first then came to turn it around and couldnt mount it in the chuck - doh!

This compressor wheel is in the front of a model gas turbine. It was milled by John Pace from HE15 Aluminium alloy on a Dore-Westbury mill controlled by a CompUCut System. The double curvature profile is most impressive, a lovely job.
