T-Rex

We have been asked by school craft teachers how they could use CNC in schools. Hmmm. As an idea we bought one of the wooden jigsaw model animal kits, cleaned it up, digitised the pieces and then cut out the bone profiles.

We thought this might keep the children intrested if each child is responsbile for digitizing and then cutting out a bone. For added mischief it is quite easy to change the scale and you suddenly have a 6 foot T-Rex guarding the staff room!

Having proved the idea we havn't finished ours off, but it was fun, again it shows an idea and if I get some free time I would like to pick it up again.
